About Me

Angus Wilson is a British Columbia employment lawyer and associate in Zacharias McCann LLP’s Labour and Employment practice group. Based in the firm’s Victoria and Abbotsford offices, he advises and represents both employers and employees across a broad range of workplace matters, including:

· Terminations for cause and without cause

· Wrongful dismissal

· Constructive dismissal

· Severance negotiations

· Human rights matters

· Workplace harassment complaints

· Temporary layoffs

Angus joined Zacharias McCann LLP after articling and practicing at a national employment law firm in Vancouver. He has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia.

Before becoming a lawyer, Angus worked as an Industrial Relations Officer with the BC Employment Standards Branch, where he investigated employment standards complaints and conducted employer compliance audits. He now draws on that experience to help clients resolve workplace disputes efficiently while providing practical advice on all aspects of employment law.

Angus’s path to law included a stint as a fashion model in Asia. He wrote the LSAT in Shanghai before attending the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, and later returned to Asia as a law student during an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore, where he received the Tan Keng Feng Award for writing the faculty’s highest-graded research paper.

Angus is a knowledgeable and approachable advocate who takes pride in building strong client relationships and guiding clients through complex employment matters with care and clarity. He is committed to practical, collaborative solutions that reflect each client’s goals and circumstances.

Outside of his practice, Angus enjoys exploring BC by bike and spending time with his family and Scotch Collie, Lad.
